Published rates as of 27 August 2026 and subject to change by them at any time. Their seat tiers step at 5, 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 seats, so a 25-client roster buys the 30-seat tier. Advanced Nutrition Coaching is listed at $20 per month up to the 15-seat tier and $45 per month from the 30-seat tier upward; Stripe Integrated Payments at $10 per month. Their higher plans include those add-ons and other features this table does not weigh. Check their page for current rates before deciding.

I'm a client, how do I get in?

Through your coach. They send you a private invitation, and that link is the only way in — it connects you straight to them, so there is nothing here for you to sign up for. Ask your coach for it. If you already made an account by mistake, open the link anyway and it moves you to the right place.

Can I move my clients over?

Yes. You send us the programs you run now, in whatever form you have them, and we rebuild them here for you at no charge. Client accounts move by invitation: you enter their email, they set a password, and their history starts from the day they join. Nothing is locked to us afterwards.

Do my clients need to download anything?

No. They open the address you give them and add it to their home screen. It gets your icon and your name, opens without a browser bar, and works offline for the parts that do not need the network. There is no app store step and no account with us to create.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You export all of it, any time, from Settings — clients, sessions, measurements, nutrition, messages and photos, as JSON and CSV. There is no exit fee and no retention period you have to wait out. Your clients can export and delete their own data themselves, separately from you.

Do you take a cut of what I charge clients?

No. Client payments run through your own Stripe account and the money goes to you. We take no percentage and add no per-transaction fee on top of Stripe's own.

What happens when I pass 50 clients?

You move to Coach Plus at $69 per month. Past 100 clients you move again, to Coach Unlimited at $129 per month, and that is the last change — it stays $129 at any roster size above 100. Three steps in total, and no data moves at any of them. Your clients, programs, history and settings stay exactly where they are; only the plan name and the monthly figure change, and you choose when to move.

Do you charge per client?

No. Three prices, based on roster size: $39 per month for 1 to 50 clients, $69 for 51 to 100, and $129 from 101 up with no ceiling. We do have client bands, so calling it three prices is accurate where "no per-client pricing" would not be — but the figure only changes twice as you grow, and you always know what you pay at any roster size. No per-client fee, and no separate charge for nutrition, payments or branding.

Can I have my own app in the App Store?

Yes, as a bespoke service under your own name and Apple Developer account. We build and submit it for you, every update goes through review, setup takes a few weeks, and it is quoted per business as a setup fee plus a monthly. Most coaches do not need it: on a branded workspace your clients already install an app with your logo, your name and your icon from your own address, and the app in our stores wears your brand as soon as they sign in. A store listing buys presence in the store under your own name — it does not add anything your clients see. Enquire if you want it; we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for you. I have two trainers.

Then a solo tier covers you. Coach, Coach Plus and Coach Unlimited all include two trainer seats, so a partner or an assistant costs nothing extra — you pay on client count alone. Studio is what you move to when you need a third seat.

What does the free plan leave out?

The client limit and branding. Three clients get the same recovery tracking, nutrition, programs, messaging and check-ins as a paid account, but their app carries the Trainers Desk name rather than yours — branding starts on the $39 Coach plan, and we set it up for you from a request. The free plan does not expire and it does not ask for a card.

What address do emails to my clients come from?

Ours, with your name on it. Every email leaves from no-reply@trainersdesk.com through our own mail servers, so there is nothing for you to set up and nothing that can break at your end. What changes with branding is the name your client reads in their inbox: on a paid plan with branding live it is your business name, on the free plan it is Trainers Desk. Replies go to your own email address either way, so a client hitting reply reaches you. If you want the address itself to match your brand — no-reply@yourbusiness.com — that is available on request as a service: it needs SPF and DKIM records on your domain, so we do it with you rather than from a button. Do my clients need MyFitnessPal?

No. Food logging is built in, and the targets you set are the targets your client logs against — same system, one number, nothing to copy across. If a client already logs somewhere else and would rather not switch, we can read their daily totals instead. That is optional, and it only ever brings in what they ate; targets never come from an outside app.

Why is nutrition built in rather than bolted on?

Because the two halves have to be read together. Food logging, macro targets, session load and recovery sit in one record here, so a week of low protein and a week of poor sleep show up side by side instead of in two accounts that never meet. A target you change is the target your client sees, without them retyping it anywhere. Where an outside service already does a job better we use it: a client who prefers another food app can have their daily totals read in, and payments run through Stripe rather than through us.
